WILDWOOD EVENTS SCHEDULE
|
The "Crest" is a favorite of all water enthusiasts because of its
beautiful wide beaches and its bay activities. Sunset Lake is on the
west side of this 5 mile island and is the "playground" for all the
watersports. The sunsets at night are spectacular! |
|
The Wildwood Crest Yacht Club is located on Sunset Lake.
The bay is the hub of Wildwood Crest's tourist fishing industry,
with charter boats leaving daily from April through October
. |

Wildwood Crest is known as "America's Best Family Resort".
To keep this image there are NO liquor stores
or bars in this area. You can just enjoy the lazy hazy days of
summer here. Enjoy the watersports, swim or just lay on the large
beaches and enjoy the sounds of the waves, the squawks of the
seagulls and the smell of salt air.
All the beaches in Wildwood become quite crowded - up to 90,000
visitors daily AND THERE ARE NO BEACH TAG FEES!. The
crowds at Wildwood Crest tend towards a mix of teens and families.
The beach is wide and clean, and although it can be a bit crowded,
at least it is filled with that festive atmosphere that tends to
gather on summer beaches.
There
is handicap access to the beach at Rambler Road beach only. The
Beach Patrol has the wheel chairs on a first come first serve basis
with NO charge. Rambler Road beach is also the surfing beach.
Surf
fishing is allowed at all beaches before and after the lifeguards
leave.
Although Wildwood Crest has no boardwalk, Wildwood and its famous
boardwalk is just a short distance away.
Wildwood Crest is the best place to go if you want the excitement of
Wildwood, the serenity of a lakeside picnic, and a few hours of bay
fishing thrown in for good measure.
|
|
The Crest has its own highly trained
Beach Patrol. For your safety they endorse the
following regulations and safety tips for beach goers. |
