the
Boardwalk
The
boardwalk is two and a half miles of fun with 3
amusement piers, 2 water parks, 7 roller coasters. It
boasts of the tallest Ferris wheel on East coast,
carnival games, convention center, movie theaters,
shopping and eateries. If you don't want to walk , you
can ride on the trams which run continuously. At night,
the boardwalk takes on its own personality with flashing
neon lights, music, and a friendly carnival atmosphere.
It is best to try to book your
vacation rental early spring. If you are looking for a property for
a "theme weekend", it is best to do that asap since so many of the
motels were demolished.
Can I make a reservation
without coming to see it?
It is best if you actually
view the property as we cannot be responsible if you do not like it
when you arrive. However, if you feel confident that the pictures
you see online are satisfactory, then you can book it by
e-mail
or calling us (609) 522-4999.
If I do come down, where
are you located?
We are at the corner of 17th
Avenue and New Jersey Avenue. Our address is 1701 New Jersey Avenue
and we are open daily.
We will need your name,
address and phone number. We will send you 3 copies of a lease
agreement to sign. You return 2 copies with a 50% deposit and keep
one copy for your records. The final deposit and security deposit,
if required, are due two weeks BEFORE your arrival.
What time is check-in and
check-out?
Check in times vary from 2:00
to 3:00 PM (depending on the owner's preferences) and check-out is
usually 10:00 AM.
When I arrive, what do I
need to bring with me?
You will need any additional
monetary deposits, sheets, pillowcases, pool/beach towels, laundry
and dish detergent, toilet paper, trash bags, soap, shampoo, paper
products, beach chairs, food including staples (sugar, salt, etc.).
Each unit is unique and we try to put as much information as
possible in our written leases. Please review your lease to make
sure you bring the right size sheets and to check what is and what
is not supplied.
Is there usually a
telephone in the rental properties?
With the growing usage of cell
phones, individual unit phones may or may not be provided. Please be
sure to bring your cell phone along for emergency purposes.
Can friends visit while we
are renting?
Yes, friends and family can
visit but you are restricted to the number of persons that occupy
the property specified in your lease. If you exceed that number, you
will be in violation of the lease. The lease will be terminated
immediately with no monies being returned to you.
If I pay a security
deposit, do I get it back the day I leave?
Usually the owner returns the
deposit within three weeks of your check-out date unless the
property was not left in the same clean condition as you received it
or if there were any damages.
If you have any other
questions, please feel free to call us at any time. We are here to
help you
Can I get my money back if
I have to cancel my rental?
Island Realty Group NOT
hold your deposit money. All deposits are sent to the owner with the
copies of the lease. It is up to the owner to retain or release the
deposit when notified of a cancellation. If he is agreeable to
release it, he reserves the right to hold your deposit until he has
received the deposit from another tenant. If you must cancel your
reservation, notify us immediately in writing. We will then
place the property on our active rental list.
